SQL Server Everywhere Edition also shares a common programming model with the other SQL Server editions, enabling developers to transfer skills and knowledge quickly and easily. We expect to ship the first CTP of SQL Server Everywhere Edition this summer, with the goal of final release before the end of this calendar year."
Čeprav ime zveni kot prvoaprilska šala, vse skupaj izgleda kot idealna rešitev za lokalno skladišče pametnih odjemalcev... Pa da vidimo...

Nedvomno. Sem jih glih mislil vprašat v Ljubljani, če delajo kaj na tem. Očitno je bila želja dovolj :-)

Aha, še bolj express od Expressa. Dodaten bombonček je še tale "seamlessly synchronizing with other SQL Server editions". Nič več persistiranja v lokalne filete ipd. Sql ekipa je udarno začela tole leto...

Če sem prav razumel tale everywhere, je to super. Gre za kodo, ki jo boš priložil svojemu programu (juhuuu, nič inštalacije!) in boš imel sql server. Za taki hec si zdaj potreboval Firebird ali kaj podobnega.
