Defragmentation in Vista

After using Vista for a while, i figured it to do something with my disc.Installing, deinstalling, running tests and other stuff, just maked my disc quite messy. So, i launched the defragmenter in Vista.

There were some things, that bothered me:

  • no fragmentation map
  • slow disc analyzing (10 - 20 Minutes)
  • even slower defragmenting...if i should say, that operation last it about 3 - 4 hours (on 100gb disc 7200 rpm)
  • nice fragmentation report feature

So, i checked the internet and found this free disckeeper, named auslogics. It is small, fast,efficient, simple GUI and the best thing, its free.... i recommend it for home use....
