Measuring Cloud Data Access Speed: Azure Throughput Analyzer

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon another project from the Microsoft Research eXtreme Computing Group that is dubbed Azure Throughput Analyzer. What it basically gives you is an application that enables you to easily measure data access speed to and from various Windows Azure datacenters. Pretty nice, do use if you are in doubt that the network/datacenter performance is not adequate, I personally was surprised with the great response times for large datasets…
