I just read an interesting post in the Wired magazine, titled “Cloud Jobs Look Skyward, But Skills Gap Is Growing“. It basically described how in US the demand for professionals with cloud-related expertise is growing so fast that it’s hard to find enough of the skilled experts… I also heard stories from US colleagues that you can actually land a cloud related job on that market in a week, which is pretty impressive (forget about recession in this line of business) …
As our (European) region is a couple of years behind of the main trends, we can start prepping now – that is, if we believe that cloud is the future trend of IT.
What do you think?
