17:15 - 18:00 TeamCity for .NET development : Setup and Maintenance (Simon Rupar, Adacta d.o.o.)

TeamCity is a popular Continuous Integration (CI) tool from JetBrains. In this brief overview we will set up CI from scratch and look into basic TeamCity concepts and features. We will set up simple build and discover how to include TeamCity into DevOps lifecycle. Later we will try to simulate a live scenario for handling broken builds, delivery and deployment.

Since a number of years I am familiar with the observation that the quality of programmers is a decreasing function of the density of IEnumerable methods in the programs they produce. Later I discovered why the use of the IEnumerable methods has such disastrous effects and did I become convinced that the IEnumerable methods should be abolished from all "higher level" programming languages (i.e. everything except —perhaps— plain machine code).
