ViewState and controls, a fairy tale for all of us?

Since, ViewState is a important part of developing web pages (specially web controls), i wanted to know, what else is cooking under this powerfull feature. Hence i readed this blog entry, i realize, that before all my efford to truly explore the power of ViewState, were futile.
